My remote signer didn't receive an email or SMS code to sign, what should I do?
You have sent a contract for remote electronic signature with SELL & SIGN, but your signer informs you that he did not receive a code by SMS to sign.
First possibility: you have chosen the wrong signature mode
To sign remotely, you must choose the signature mode "e-mail + SMS", symbolized by an icon representing an envelope. Make sure that this is the signature mode you have chosen for the signer concerned.
Otherwise, just try again and check the signer's email address and mobile number.
On your side, check that you have entered the correct e-mail address and the correct mobile number. From the SELL & SIGN backoffice, you can "Relaunch" the signer to send him the signature email again.
If the signer has received the email but no code by SMS, no problem, SELL & SIGN has foreseen this scenario. Here's what you can say to your client:
1. Click on the "Read and sign the document" link in the email received
2. After reading the document, click on the "Sign" button
3. If the SMS code is not received, click on "Send me the disposable code"
- Check that the phone number is correct, and if necessary correct it
- Otherwise, choose to send by email
4. Enter the 6-digit code received, check the check box that validates the legal terms and validate
5. A confirmation page thanks the signer and invites him to connect to his personalized portal
